How we write, check and update our guides.

Why we write guides

Our guides exist to explain the problems our free tools solve: how a loan EMI is worked out, why a PDF is too large, what an exam form means by “20–50 KB”. We write about topics we deal with in our own development work and in building the tools.

Accuracy

  • Every worked example is calculated with the same formulas used in our calculators, and the numbers are re-checked before publishing.
  • Where rules come from a government body, regulator or exam authority, we describe them in general terms and tell readers to confirm current details at the official source.
  • We do not give personalised financial, tax or legal advice.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows its publication date, and an “Updated” date when the content changes meaningfully. If you find an error, email support@cygnatrix.com. We correct confirmed mistakes promptly.

Independence from advertising

The site is supported by Google ads. Advertisers have no say over what we write, and we do not accept payment to recommend products.
